Modified Holster for 14 Pattern Equipment, attributed

Officers pistol holster modified by the addition of straps from an ammunition pouch to make it compatible with 14 pattern equipment. Named inside the flap to ADH Simpson, Royal Naval Division and attributed to Sub.Lt. A.D.H. Simpson, Nelson Battaion, RND. Wounded in France 23/04/1917. WW1 style naval officer’s cap, good quality bullion badge with silver anchor and RNV above. Feint initials under the leather sweatband, ADHS, attributed to Sub.Lt. A.D.H.
