22 Pattern SD Tunic, Coldstream Guards

Fitted with brass regimental buttons and embroidered shoulder titles, good conduct stripe to the left cuff. Overall in very good condition but some holes around the lower left pocket area and in one shoulder title. Fairly clear maker label, size 13, and dated 1942 with P over WD. Lighter weight khaki SD tunic and trousers with cord breeches belonging to an officer with an impressive career. Mentioned in dispatches twice in WW1 and again in twice WW2, once for organising the evacuation of the Burma Corps across the Chindwin River in March 1942. Colonel’s 40 Pattern Battledress, Large Size

Tailored example of a 40/Austerity jacket to a Colonel with medal ribbons for WW1 and WW2 including the Military Cross and Mentioned in Dispatches emblems. No label present but marked as a size 18 with additional stamps from a reconditioned clothing depot. Under the tailored collar the WD stamps are still visible with N for 1943.  read more

A nice clean example of an Indian made BD with insignia for a senior NCO in an East African regiment. Indian made embroidered slip on titles, SEAC shoulder titles in metal wire on black felt, printed formation signs and embroidered rank on the lower sleeves for WO2, there are also medal ribbons indicating service in Burma.
