Label unclear but attributed to Maj.Gen. R.A. Bramwell-Davis CB, DSO*, Legion of Merit. He joined the Highland Light Infantry in 1925 being awarded an MiD in India. During WW2 he won the Distinguished Service Order twice whilst serving with 10th HLI in North West Europe, once near Nijmegen in Feb 1945 and again near Uelzen, Germany in April.
